Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of ServiceSync, GEORGIOS BOUMPOUKIS, an individual trading as ServiceSync and based in Thessaloniki, Greece ("we," "us," "our," or the "Operator"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the ServiceSync application, website, and related services (the "Services").
By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who We Are
ServiceSync is operated by an individual (sole trader), not a registered company. There is no separate corporate entity — the Operator is personally responsible for the Services under Greek law. If you require our legal name, tax registration details, or address for invoicing or compliance purposes, contact us using the details in Section 14.
2. The Services and Trial
ServiceSync provides desktop repair shop management software. We offer a free trial period, the length of which is shown at signup. During the trial, no payment is taken unless you actively provide payment details and confirm a paid subscription. At the end of the trial, if you have not upgraded, your account access will be paused; we will not charge you automatically without your prior, explicit action to subscribe.
If you do provide payment details during or after the trial and confirm a subscription, that subscription will renew automatically as described in Section 3, and you will be charged accordingly.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, and Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, in advance, through our payment processor, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. This means Paddle is the seller of record, handles payment processing, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax or VAT on transactions. Paddle's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment process; see paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your customer portal (link provided in your confirmation email or account settings), which will stop future renewals. You will retain access to the Services until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
Prices are shown in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated at checkout, and may include or exclude VAT depending on your location, as calculated by Paddle at checkout.
4. Business Use and Refund Policy
ServiceSync is designed and offered exclusively as a business-to-business (B2B) software for repair shops and technicians. By subscribing to the Services, you represent that you are acting for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft, or profession. Therefore, statutory consumer withdrawal rights (such as the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off period for personal consumers) do not apply to this agreement.
However, we stand by the quality of our software. We offer a voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial purchase. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within the first 14 days, you may request a full refund through Paddle or by contacting us directly.
Outside of this initial 14-day window, subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your customer portal, which will prevent future renewals. You will retain access to the Services until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
5. Account Cancellation and Data Retention
Upon cancellation of your subscription, you will maintain access to your account until the end of the current billing cycle. Following the end of your subscription, your account data will be retained for 60 days to allow you time to export your data or reactivate your license. After this 60-day period, your data will be permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.
6. Prohibited Activities
As a user of ServiceSync, you agree not to:
- Sell, resell, transfer, or share your license key or account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the software, except to the extent this restriction is not permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users' accounts, or our systems.
- Use the software for anything other than its intended purpose of internal business management operations for repair and electronics businesses.
7. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, and underlying code, are owned by the Operator and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and, where applicable, payment of fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your internal business purposes. You receive no ownership rights in the software itself.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms, including the Prohibited Activities in Section 6, or if required to do so by law. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice before termination and an opportunity to remedy the breach, except in cases of serious or repeated violations. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription as described in Section 3.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we aim for high reliability, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Greek or EU law, including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the Operator be liable to you or any third party for any lost profit, lost data, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you for any cause whatsoever will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us during the twelve (12) month period prior to the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.
11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a business customer, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident, and you may bring proceedings in relation to these Terms in the courts of that country. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Services before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent of the original.
